Service Description

Our Gullah seminars are interactive educational seminars of Culture! Through Storytelling, Dance and Song, Kyndra Joi will lead you through a journey of culture and tradition of the Gullahs in the Low Country! The Gullah Geechee communities are the descendants of enslaved Africans who lived and continue to reside in the low country regions of Georgia and South Carolina. Because of its isolation in rural areas, the Gullah people have developed a culture that has preserved much of the West African linguistic and ethnic heritage.
